A dreamy winter moment

 

Just beyond the mist
an autumn moment invades
a winter landscape

weighing on my heart

come, conceal away
dark mist, I dare not gaze on
the ills of this world

a defining moment

eyes towards mountains
hearts soaring towards sky, in
search of clarity

surrendering to gloom

O sad autumn mist –
even in daylight you let
darkness steal your heart

more shades of grey

O sad autumn mist
didn’t the moon shed light to
save you from darkness?

another chapter opens

autumn mists arrive
as excitement gathers pace
it’s back to school day!

early to rise

concealed by dawn’s mist
are the radiant ambitions
of the rising sun

curiosity

with stillness at dusk
an intriguing mist draws thought
beyond the curtain

loneliness

alone on this path
I tread silently into
the autumn mist

hidden steps

hidden by the mist
my footsteps will remain
forever lost to me

escaping the darkness

tired of the mist
my shadow rises to greet
the bright piercing sun

seeing the lone man
vanish in the winter mist

what do you seek to conceal
